Our story

Built for Egypt's first 1–3 jobs.

mafeshsho8l (مفيش شغل — "there's no work") is the AI career copilot we wished existed when we were applying for our first roles in Cairo, Alexandria, and the Delta. We're building it for everyone walking that same path right now.

Why we exist

The Egyptian job market is loud and unforgiving. ATS systems built in California read your CV against Wuzzuf and Bayt postings written in Cairo. Generic career advice tells you to write in English even when half the role description is in Arabic. And the people who actually know what works — friends who got hired last month — don't scale.

mafeshsho8l grades your CV against the Egyptian market specifically. We rewrite weak bullet points in language that lands here. We surface real, open roles from LinkedIn, Wuzzuf, and Bayt — not stale Indeed scrapes. And we do all of it in EGP, in both English and Arabic, with the keyboard shortcuts and design sensibilities you expect.

What we believe

  • Egypt-first, not Egypt-as-an-afterthought. Every feature is shaped by Egyptian hiring patterns, currency, language, and culture before it ships anywhere else.
  • Affordable beats premium.A new grad job-hunting on a 5,000 EGP-a-month gig shouldn't pay $30/month-USD for software. Our paid tiers start at 49 EGP/month.
  • Real outcomes over vanity numbers. We measure success by interviews booked and offers received — not by "CV downloads" or other proxies.
  • Privacy, by default.Your CV is yours. We don't train models on your data and we don't sell it. See our Privacy Policy.

One product, three surfaces

mafeshsho8l runs on the web at mafeshsho8l.com, on iOS (TestFlight today, App Store soon), and on Android (direct APK today, Google Play soon). Whichever device is in your pocket when a recruiter messages you — we're there.

Who builds this

mafeshsho8l is built by a small team in Egypt who've been on both sides of the hiring table — as candidates submitting cold CVs, and as engineers screening hundreds of applications. We know what gets through and what gets ignored. We're putting that into software so the next person walking the path doesn't have to learn it the hard way.
