How AI Reads Your CV in 2026 — and How to Beat the ATS
Most Egyptian employers now filter CVs with an ATS before a human sees them. Here is exactly how the parser works and how to make sure your CV gets through.
The robot reads first, the recruiter reads second
In 2026, almost every mid-to-large employer in Egypt runs your CV through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) before a human ever opens it. The ATS extracts the text layer of your PDF, looks for the keywords in the job description, and ranks you. A beautiful CV that the parser can't read is silently rejected.
What actually breaks the ATS
