Using ChatGPT & Claude to Land Your Next Job (the right way)
AI can 10x your job search — or get you rejected for generic, robotic applications. Here is how to use it so you stand out instead of blending in.
AI is a co-pilot, not an autopilot
Recruiters can spot a 100% AI-written cover letter instantly — and it's a fast "no". Used well, though, AI makes your real story sharper and faster to tell.
Do this
- Tailor, don't generate. Paste the job post and your CV, then ask AI to find the 3 strongest overlaps to highlight. Write the letter in your own voice.
- Translate & polish. Draft in Arabic, ask AI to produce a clean English version (and vice-versa) without losing your meaning.
- Prep for interviews. Have AI role-play the interviewer for the exact role and give feedback on your answers — the app's Interview Prep does this natively.
- Decode the job post. Ask AI: "What is this employer really looking for, and what would make me a top candidate?"
Don't do this
- Don't paste AI text verbatim.
- Don't invent skills or experience — it collapses in the interview.
- Don't send the same letter to 50 companies.
In the app, generate a tailored cover letter, then edit it to sound like you. That combination — speed + authenticity — is what wins.
